Pondering life

Life has been a little rocky lately. A lot of personal and family issues have surfaced. All of this makes me realize how fast our life can change . It also makes me realize how we think we have control of our lives and at the same time we have no control of our lives at all. We can only live in the moment but plan for the future. Those plans may need to be altered, however, as life randomly choses its own paths....paths that may not be familiar to us. As we are forced to follow these paths, we are forced to accept the unfamiliar. These are not comfortable situations and often bring heartache, fears and tears. I do try to remember that this is temporary and the path can change for the better just as quickly. Happiness can happen as quickly!!!

Heading South

Well, I am heading south once again. Saturday I will be heading back to the beach for a week vacation and I can't wait. Checking the weather, it seems that it is going to be HOT!! I plan on headng to the water...beach or pool..doesn't matter. Oh..in case of rain I will have my laptop so I can stay caught up on the news. The picture is where we are going to be staying at the beach and hope the weather is just as beautiful as in the picture! Will post from the beach!

Under construction

My husband found this old swing and brought it home. It is now my two sons new project. They have been working on it and say it will be done soon. That is yet to be determined. They sanded, primed, and cut wood...now lets see if they get it put back together...

Beginning Summer

I wish that I could say I will be relaxing by a pool everyday with a cool drink but that is not reality. This is allll about reality here and so far there is no relaxing by the pool. However, we did make a quick weekend trip to the beach and had beautiful weather. Now, back to reality...I have been doing a lot FB and surfing the web looking at websites about ideas for 3rd grade and co-teaching. I am still not used to the idea of jumping to the 3rd grade but sometimes change is good. Ok..enough with the school stuff..I will be posting some of my projects for this summer that I have started so stay tuned.
